Commercial Banking/Treasury

Commercial Banking seeks to grow strong, profitable banking relationships with businesses and to provide excellent service to these customers. The relationships can take the form of a wide variety of loans, deposits, merchant credit card services, cash management services, etc. The Commercial Bankers are responsible to identify and satisfy the financial needs of these business customers. They proactively sell traditional and non-traditional bank products and services.

Nonprofit Banking

Nonprofit Banking helps nonprofit customers manage their organizations, as well as their personal, financial resources effectively by helping these customers identify their needs and by selling them appropriate products and services. The area also articulates the Bank's commitment to each of its communities through corporate citizenry, support and participation. The relationships established take the form of deposits, investments, merchant credit card services, cash management services, loans and other relationships, which are advantageous to the organization's success.

Relationship Banking

Relationship Banking seeks to grow and service strong, profitable banking relationships with individuals. This is accomplished by providing excellent customer service, cross-selling additional products and services to current customers, as well as identifying and selling to potential new customers. The department provides individualized and comprehensive services. Products offered can take the form of loans, lines of credit, deposit accounts, retirement accounts, safe deposit boxes, and card services.

Service Banking

Service Banking Department provides assistance to commercial, nonprofit, and consumer customers, as well as to Western Bank's bankers. Employees in the department will open new accounts, cross sell products and services, administer safe deposit functions and IRAs, teller, address needs, solve problems and provide administrative support to the bankers. The department is also responsible for branch operations.

Loan Review and Credit Administration

Loan Review's mission is to provide management with accurate and timely information on the credit quality of the loan portfolio. This includes the quality of active loans, the impact of loan losses on earnings and the equity position of the Bank. As the primary risk management system within the Bank, Loan Review monitors and reports on credit risk. Credit Administration's mission is to support the lending process of the Bank. This is accomplished through providing the clerical and operational support, as well as the credit analysis associated with the production, administration, and ongoing customer service of all loans.

The Operations Department's mission is to support the Bank's customers and employees by providing accurate and timely financial services that they need and want. Marketing is responsible to support the Bank's growth goals via Bank image (i.e. Advertising, Public Relations, and Service); merchandising; special events, etc. as well as product and service research, development and pricing. Marketing also assists the commercial, nonprofit, consumer and investment areas in selling products and services through various distribution channels.

Human Resources

Human Resources is responsible to support the Bank in the management of its employees.
