May 25, 2012: Western Bank Chairman Julie Sands Causey Receives Industry Leader "Women in Business" Award
St. Paul, MN. (May 25, 2012): Western Bank announced today that Julie Sands Causey, Chairman of Western Bank, was recently recognized as one of 51 outstanding female executives and business owners by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. This is the Journal's 15th annual Women in Business Publication that highlights the selected women's leadership and contributions to the community. The honorees were awarded at a luncheon at the downtown Minneapolis Hilton on May 23 with nearly 1,100 attendees.
Causey leads the management team at Western Bank and has been on the bank's board since 1999 and Chairman since 2004. Julie brings a wealth of business and economic expertise to the bank and will no doubt continue to make a big impact in the business community in the years to come. Western Bank is thrilled she is being recognized as an Industry Leader.
The 2012 Women in Business Awards recognized one Career Achievement Award winner, as well as two other award categories. The recipients included 26 Industry Leaders (including Causey) and 24 Women to Watch.
